Or at least a little cleaner. If you already have a good system ignore this but I kept spilling oil all over my swingarm and tire and I couldn't find a funnel that would fit in there. As I was running through O'reilly to grab some oil and a filter I ran into this handy little deal:

Spout

Just attatches to a quart of oil like so:

on quart

the nozzle twists on and off to stop or start the flow of oil and I didn't spill one drop! I figured it was a pretty well spent $2.35.

I've had one of those for years but never had a need to use it for engine oil. I've used it for transmissions, transfer cases and differentials on my cars and trucks. And if you noticed, the white part (that goes on the bottle) can be removed to fit different bottles (like gear oil).

I agree - one of the better couple dollar purchases I've made over the years.

The gear oil bottles I get for the Primary has these little tapered tips on them. They happen to fit onto a standard motor oil bottle as well...that is what I use and find there is no need for any funnel at all. It might pour a little slow but there is no mess.

The Valvoline synthetic I use in the primary comes with a spout and goes straight in no problem. I use castrol 20/50 dino oil in the main and I have no problem puring that in without a funnel. Just takes a steady hand lol.

Wow I just saved $2.35 lol.

Nice trick though.

Yep it is very useful as I have one for each motorcycle and truck due to some oil stays inside the tube.

But one major problem with this tube is where the air to go into the bottle while pouring into the case. Slower time to pour oil. (Solution: Make sure the bottle is laying side and poke a small hole in the bottle and it will flow faster.)
