The wife's CityX will only ever by used (as long as she has it) as a solo rider bike - no passenger.

Any problems with removing the passenger pegs and supporting assembly on a CityX? Looks like the forward bolt holds the battery tray.

The only other thought I had was if the rear peg assembly was needed as attachment points for mounting soft saddle bags.

It sure will make getting to the dipstick, and topping up the oil, a lot easier...

no problem removing but putting those forward bolts back in will keep the tray secure. thats what i did as soon as i brought the bike home.

the rear pegs/assembly are also good at preventing damage in case the bike goes down. kinda act as big sliders. in my tipover the bike suffered no damage without the rear pegs though. but i prob got lucky.
