When you installed your Drummer SS, did you worry about the oil from your skin on the can? Will it discolor the pipe when it gets hot? If you did clean the pipe after installation, what did you use to remove the oil? Thanks... |

Kevin uses mineral spirits to clean them before shipment. My SS has been handled by me and covered with grime as well. I've never noticed any staining on it. I usually use a damp paper towel or Windex on it. The front end cap is a bit grit blasted in the center because I have elected not to use the chin spoiler. |

I didn't clean mine after I installed it and I didn't see any discoloration at all in over 1500 miles. Mine is filthy right now but holding up beautifully! WT |

I HAD MY SS CERAMIC COATED SLIVER AND POLISHED BEFORE IT WAS PUT TOGETHER I HAD CALLED AND WAS TELLING KEVIN I WAS GETTING MY HEADER COATED SO KEVIN SUGGESTED SHOULD GET THE MUFFLER COATED ALSO SO IT WOULD ALL BE THE SAME COLOR AND COATED SO KEVIN SENT ME THE FRONT MUFFLER PIPE AND BODY, I HAD IT COATED AND RETURN IT TO HIM TO FINISH ASSEMBLY GOT BACK THE MUFFLER AND IT IS AMAZING KEVIN'S WORKMANSHIP IS TOP NOTCH AND CUSTOMER SERVICE IS BY FAR THE BEST I RECEIVED WHEN DEALING WITH MY BUELL WELL I GOT TO RIDE IT THE OTHER DAY AND WOW THE SOUND IS GREAT EVEN THE "HARLEY GUYS" FROM WORK LIKE IT AND AS FOR POWER IT IS A WHOLE NEW BIKE I FELL I LOVE ALL OVER AGAIN KEVIN THANK YOU |
