Those are some cool shots. Thanks for posting. Great idea to leave pretty much everything in place and bolted together. Just loosen and remove enough to lift the frame off. Cool. Henrik |

i would have never thought it would be that easy ( and by easy i mean not removing all the stuff from the frame, but unbolt the frame from the stuff ) |

The actual *frame* of the bike is only attached to the motor by 5 bolts.. the swingarm is attached to the transmission/engine case, and the shock mounts up to the top part of the frame. the motor/tranny assembly is the load bearing member of the bike. I never really noticed that until recently because I've stripped my bike down for an xb9r to xb9s swap |
