I am a few weeks away from buying a new CityX (my first Buell) and was wondering if those of you who recently bought or are in the biz can tell me what a good price is. I saw one at one of the Rossmeyer dealerships for $7100,a leftover '05, but I missed it. I know of plenty of Honda dealers that sell below MSRP no haggle, but not as familiar with Buell. Just let it be said, I'm not trying to rip anyone off, I understand that the salesman has to eat, but my last bike was purchased for $2100 below, no haggle, and they were quite pleasant and glad to sell at that price, and that was on a brand new model for that year. |

The Metric brands often have dealer kickbacks that the customer knows nothing about. They make waaayyyy to many bikes and offer customer and dealer incentives to move them. Kind of like the car business. Too many bikes, too many dealers. Buells are a little different. Find a dealer that knows Buell, lives Buell, has Buell techs, has Buell stuff inside, has a BRAG club, does Buell events. Then work out a deal that is fair for both of you. Could I interest you in a trip to Wisconsin? |

I'm afraid I'm a little too far away to make a trip to Wisconsin cost effective...but thanks for the offer. |

Lance - Buy it from Daves and I'll fly up and ride it back for you. I'll even pay for the gas coming back to FL. I need an adventure. |
