i took all 3 bolts out on each side and the forks wont come out. what should i do? | ||

try giving them a good twist in the triple trees. they are probably just stuck. i had to grab mine and twist them back and forth to get it free'd up. then you have to take the clip off before it will go through the lower clamp once they start. | ||

Gee Tim, sounds like you have some (recent) experience in this  seriously though, rubber strap wrench or similar may help twisting them loose. (Message edited by diablobrian on March 27, 2006) | ||

hmm wonder why that would be... damn wheelies anyway! i was kind of thinking about a strap wrench or something if they wouldnt have broken loose by hand. good thing i have a strong grip since i'd of had to go buy more tools otherwise, lol. extreme case i was thinking a rubber mallet along the lines of my deadblow and lightly tapping around the top of the fork along the outer edge taking care not to hit the adjusters and damage something. now if the last of the bushings show up to replace the ones we had to cut out if the fork then i can through it back together. you know so it can sit there until i get the ecm fixed up! it needs to get back together so i can quit thinking up more things i need to do to it. the longer it sits the more parts i keep ordering. ugh | ||

got it. im a dumbazz and forgot to take out the bolt in the middle of the top triple tree. | ||
