Does anybody have a sound sample of the loud Drummer muffler? How much louder is it than the standard Drummer? I tried to listen to the example on Kevin's web site but it did not work for me. |

I have heard both. The loud is noticeably louder but I dont think quite as loud as say the D&D. That's my opinion only though. I also think you may lose a little power going with the loud version. Hopefully Kevin can clarify on this stuff. HTH |

The sound file on Kevin's page does it no justice. The sound file sounds cool, but when you hear these bikes with the mufflers on and sitting on the bike, it's just a surpise. I have the econo Drummer on my bike now. Many say that the D and D is louder than the Drummer, but all I have to say is that if the D and D is louder, I will save my money. THis Econo Drummer is PLENTY loud. It sounds just like a Harley Sportster with some good pipes on it, then you hit the throttle and the valve opens and everyone around you s**ts their pants. |

I had a Loud drummer on my Uly, It was too loud for me, great power though, around town was ok but at steady highway speeds it was a little much. I ware a full helmet and earplugs. Sounded like a harley with strait pipes...... Ordered a standard Drummer, should be perfect. |

The regular Drummer sounds good without being obnoxious. At the race track I've been told that it sounds like a Ducati. |
