Has any tried putting an XBX tail (seat) on a XBR? Wondered how that would look and work out. |

Actually, that doesn't look bad. I know of some passengers who would love the backrest. |

Interesting guys. I think there are some issues fitting the X tail to the R frame. If you have a new R it shouldn't be a problem I would think, but on an 04 and 05 R the subframe mounts differently to the frame than the Uly. I could be wrong. |

The only real difference in the subframe mounting is that the 12X and SS frame is very slightly wider than the older models. I fitted an XBR subframe to an XB12X and had to take around 1/4" off the inside to make it fit. Going the other way would be easier and achievable with spacers. You would also need to have the XB12X footpeg arrangement, as the passenger pegs don't mount to the subframe (look at the difference in the photos above). These will bolt straight on. I still have a XB12X tail section lying around here brand new if anyone fancies trying it (Message edited by trojan on March 14, 2006) |

You don't have to criticize my chop art work, I know it's not the best... but it's the best I could do with what I had... Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.... just like a new born baby. |

I call her XXXB12R with optional keg holder. some of my mods include, D cup frame puck ( american engineering) looks good and keeps your hands busy at stop lights and R/R crossings. please note: I'm not an artist ( hard to believe), Hey Eric if your reading , what do you think...
