Hey all, I am considering buying the buell tank bag before I go get some saddle bags. But I am just curious as to it's worth vs. the saddle bags available. I commute to work mostly and carry a change of clothes if I go on over nighters. I herd the buell saddle bags aren't the best by far and the cortex ones people like pretty well. so eventualy I will go for a set of cortex saddles,, But should I even consider the tank bag first or go for the saddles and say ta hell with the tank bag? I love tank bags and have found them to be more practical than saddlebags since I bought my first one around 15 years ago. I've found them to be more flexible in day to day usage, and besides it's hard to read the map through the pocket of the saddlebag while traveling at highway speed |

The Buell tank bag is really good I think. I don't have any complaints with it. The Buell saddle bags though need better zippers. I'm looking at some Cortech Saddle bags to replace them. |

Here are two pics of mine from RKA, makes travel and all around usability top shelf. Usually no problems getting 5 years or more out of their stuff. Not a sponsor here but just wanted to let you see another choice. |

I have the tank bag as well as saddlebags, the tank bag is the best option if you must choose. |
