So I rode back from Daytona to Ocala, about 2 hrs. I parked the bike and it sat for about 6 hrs. When I went to load it on the trailer, I hear this high pitched squeak/squeal that sounds like it's coming from the rear. I noticed it when I was backing the bike up. I got off, tried to find it and noticed that if I slightly rock the bike back and forth/side to side, I can hear it then as well. I went ahead and loaded the bike up to trailer it back to NC. Has anyone experienced this? Any idea? Thanks

Couple of things to check. The rear brake rotor may be heat glazed and the pads are rubbing and squeaking. The rear wheel bearing could be bad. If you can get the back of the bike up in the air, try to "wiggle" the wheel around and listen for any clunking or look for any movement near the axle. If you can have somebody push the bike for you whilst you listen, push the brake lever and try to locate the source of the noise. Check the condition of the brake pads and look for any marks on the rotor. (scrapes)

Mine makes a noise similar to that. When I put it up on the stand and started to rotate the wheel I would hear it coming from the rear sprocket at a point on the belt. It's been doing that for sometime now and I now have 27,100 miles on the belt. No problems to report.

Put yours up on a stand and rotate the wheel to see if your is coming from there also.
