nice pics, that is cool you were there. i never notice that the fairing was all closed up in the front, how do they get the cooling if it is all sealed up? |

Oh yeah Daytona is 40min away from me. I think i'll be there every year from now on. It's not completely closed up. I don't think cooling is really an issue with that bike going 100+ Mph. But i'm not all the sure about that. It also has a beefy oil cooler makes our stock ones look weak. (Message edited by isham on March 12, 2006) |

this may help you visualize the cooling scheme. this is the left side. the front opening is for the oil cooler, the side is for the rear cylinder.

ok, thats better, in the other pics it almost looks sealed up. thanx. that bike sure does look fat compared to the other bikes ( honda, etc. ) the upper fairng is wide, looks bad a$$. |
