Since someone requested information about how I turned my JoeRocket jacket rain liner into a heated jacket liner: Here's a page I threw together to explain how to make your own heated gear. With a little work and DIY spirit, you can save a fortune compared to just buying stuff. http://www.perrypoint.com/heatedgear I've worn my heated jacket for two months now and it works great. Along with the heated grip kit I got from Al at American Sport Bike it has completely transformed the experience of being a "Bad Weather Biker" and I've stayed warm even on a 17-degree morning! |

Looks like a good deal Perry...with all the grips, jacket, turn signals and fan running...no voltage drop problems? |

I even have wired so that both headlights are on at once, and I still keep the voltage at around 14 volts with everything on. It drops to about 13 at idle, but still well above the charge point for the battery. And most of the time the heated jacket is turned down some anyway... |

Perry, how do you find the high-current relay which is connected to the accessory circuit. I have a XB9s and the service manual. Thanks, can't wait to start sewing... |

I just bought mine from American Sport Bike. Here's the link: http://www.americansportbike.com/shop/cgi-bin/cp-app.cgi You could buy one from RadioShack too, but the American Sport Bike price is very reasonable and you know you're getting the right thing. |
