I've added a '00 X1 to my garage recently but find it hard to say its better than my '98 M2 and keep a straight face. The XB's are not the same gene pool with either one. 31,000 miles on the M2 and only one smoked exhaust valve to whine about. Put the race kit on it and ride the hell out of it. Planning the same for the X1. |

After riding my Nallinized 2000 M2,I was kinda disapointed the first time I took a XB on a demo.I was used to the instant power of my M2.Ive been told the XB handles better in the corners than my M2,although my riding ability probably wouldnt dramaticly show the difference,I just wish the XB had alittle more guts. But the XB is a fun ride! |

I own a '97 S1 and I prefer it to the new XB. That isn't saying that the XB isn't a great bike, it is and I would love to own one someday, but my S1 has tons more character. I also own a 2002 RC51 so my Buell serves as my hooligan ride and I don't think that XB series bikes can match it in that department, yet. |

I agree that the Firebolt is a giant leap forward compared to the X1, but add that it is about on par with the S1 - although very different. |
