What is the best way to shorten the front turn signals on a XB9SX?

I put the spacers on the inside, behind my flyscreen. Worked perfect and didnt have to buy anything.

Ditto on putting the spacers on the inside. Mine have been like that for a year now with no problems. Take the fly screen off and the headlamp assembly. Unscrew the turn signals, disconnect the wires at the male-female connection, put the spacer on the inside of the flyscreen and re-assemble. It looks better IMO.

I tried to put the spacers on the inside but the rear of the lights was making contact with them and would not line up right. Going to get rear ones from Daves.

just remove the plastic spacer, shorten the mounting tube/bushing. reinstall very easy job, 15 minutes.
