I have heard from my lokal HD dealer in Norway that HD and Buell will stop producing and selling race kits for their bikes because of some EU regulations? I hope thats not true, and I wounder if some others know more about it? I know it sound strange since America is NOT the EU... |

They have been unavailable here in the UK for some time now, apart from old stock at dealers, which is good for us anyway |

Trojan: You don't think these new regulations will make problems for the aftermarked industies? |

No I don't think so. The Buell race kit exhaust was never E marked or road legal in Europe anyway, whereas most of the newer aftermarket pipes are legal with removeable baffles. We have been speaking to Micron about them developing an E marked version of their race system, and it is something that they will look into very soon. In the meantime the aftermarket road legal pipes that are available (Remus, Hot Performance etc) all offer as good or better performance than the race kit pipe anyway, and are more suited to the European climate as they are manufactured from stainless steel. |

Trojan: You have a wounderfull web page and I have been there many times, but can you answer some questions for me? the questions are: How are the Hot Performance Aero Corse Reverso Race Exhaust system compared to the Micron Serpent Full Exhaust System? And do you know what TFI setings that are best calibrated for your Adrenalin-moto race kits, so the customer can just put it directly on their bikes without dyno running them? And the springloaded belt tensjoner, does it realy work, because I have heard of so manny peoples that it might actually lessen the lifelength of the drive-belts? |

Thank you for your positive comments about our site I will try and answer your questions as best I can. 1. The Hot Performance reverso race pipe is designed for use with modifed engines only, and will not improve performance on a stock motor. The header pipes on this are equal length and 48mm in diameter. The muffler on this version is titanium. It is beautifully hand formed, hence the price. The Micron system is better for stock and very mildly modified motors and works straight from the box. We found on our Supermoto Ulysses that teh micron was great for bottom end power and torque above everything, and had over 70 ft lbs of torque from 2000rpm upwards. 2. We don't have a set of standard setting for the TFi unit, as we find that most people have carried out other mods to their bikes in addition to fitting a race kit. We always receommend that you get the TFi or Rapid Bike units set up properly on a dyno. 3. We have never had a belt failure using the sprung belt tensioners, and none of our customers have reported a failure to us either. In fact we have sold these to people who have previously broken a number of belts, and found that this product has cured it. |
