The Scg seat is hard as a rock. Get the select seat - it is only maybe an inch taller than the Scg seat and very much more comfy, and better looking. I traded my Scg seat for the select and it was a huge improvement. |

I would trade you the standard (S) seat, which is lower than your (X) seat and more comfortable than the low seat. |

I had th Scg on mine....no cushion, replaced it with the select seat. Its only maybe an inch taller, but well worth the trade off for the improvement in comfort. |

I agree. If you want to spend the money, the Select seat is one of the best. I would try sitting on the different seats, if posssible, everyone is built differently. I like the shape of the Streetfighter seat. But if you absolutely need the lowest seat to be comfortable go for the cg (it is hard though) |

I like the looks of the cg. (Just personal preference) Im kind of used to having no padding I had a CBR 600 before the buell and It had NO padding. Plus Im hoping to find someone to trade, I dont really have the cash to buy a brand new seat, Thanks for all of the advice guys, Not sure what Im going to do yet. Does anyone have a pic. of the cg seat iv seen them online but no close up. |

Scg vs Select On edit: The Select looks a lot thicker but it squishes down when you sit on it to about an inch taller than the Scg. (Message edited by metalstorm on February 14, 2006) |
