Does anyone have any tips, tricks, or tool recommendations for chopping a tail piece? |

I used a band saw to hack most of it off and then an air grinder to shape it. Then I milled some flats for the signals and a slot for the license plate light in a milling machine.

The actual really best thing to do is to send it to Odie at Special Ops, one of our sponsors. He really has it down, and doesn't charge much at all for what he does. Otherwise, just start with a hack saw, grinder, files, sandpaper. I did mine myself here is what it looked like before I installed it. Odie removes the bottom lip, and exposes the clear lens that lights the license plate. |

I used an angle grinder for the big cutting/grinding, then finished/polished it with a dremel. Mine is similar to Gentleman_joh's. |
