Most of those shops are pretty busy right now. They are scrambling to get race motors and parts
out the door to the various teams. Don't be surprised if you have to wait a bit.

I sent my heads to NHRS last year about this time for the Stage 3, yeah it took like a month or a little longer to get them back.

My bike is taking longer than a month, but I am having every itsy bitsy detail done . . . I figure as long as it's 2,000 miles away in capable hands.....

It'll be worth every cent!

P.S. - my last post was removed because I used the name of a person who is not a Badweb sponsor. Anyone who has questions about my PERSONAL bike can feel free to e-mail me and I'll share precisely the reasons I sent it where I did.

Who cares?

I think Aaron's work speaks for itself.

There are many sponsors who do TOP QUALITY WORK. Not being a sponsor is not de facto evidence of poor work. Think for a minute what this would do to folks like Ron Dickey???

Frankly. . . the more NRHS gets removed the more notice they get....

Life's funny.

No one has or had a problem with Aaron Wilson's work being mentioned here, nor his shop NRHS.

What was brought to attention was your constant promoting of JUST Aaron Wilson's / NRHS's business, and no one else's, until you were brought to task over it.

Hey Court, if you want to continue behaving like a jerk, that's your problem. Frankly I'd have expected a more balance attitude from someone like you. Especially so, given your once custodial status on the BadWeB, and your friendship with Blake.

That's an inaccurate statement....

or more correctly, horseshit.

NRHS and WES and Cyclerama and Pammy are all words that have been mentioned in equal measure by Mr Canfield in his various posts. Along with the statement that he'd give an open check to any of them. Do a search of Badweb and check me.

Oh wait, it seems his posts have been disappearing for some time. Silly me. Hey, it's only the internet anyway. Take your information with blocks of salt.

I use 120 flap wheels but the finish is with a little dingle berry hone.I tried for years to come up with a nice even finish (not that it makes any difference) and a guy told me to use a little dingle berry hone and it leaves beautiful even finishes

Tripper,
"NRHS and WES and Cyclerama and Pammy are all words that have been mentioned in equal measure by Mr Canfield in his various posts."
That is false and provably so, easily.

Let me try to clarify the issue for those who might be confused. Here at BadWeB we have absolutely no objection to folks giving advise and offering genuine recommendations. But when there develops a clear pattern of repeated advertising and the business being promoted is not a sponsor here, well, we tend to frown on that. We frown on it even more if that business makes it their policy to shun any and all participation here.

Peter,
I've not recently removed any of Court's posts. That intervention was deemed appropriate by one of the other custodians who I'm sure had good reason for doing so. There was no vindictiveness involved whatsoever. You owe that custodian an apology. I'll leave it to him to speak up should he choose to do so.

Court, Peter, Tripper,
You all want to discuss this kind of crap and bring down the board with your own personal agenda, please do it in a separate topic. This topic was started by and for Alex; hijacking it towards your own campaign to promote your friend and his business and make disparaging wisecracks concerning the efforts of custodians to maintain this board is entirely unwelcome. You all owe Alex an apology.

Glitch,

You kill me. And you worry me at the same time. Should I ever shake your hand? joker

Alex,
My advice would be to first take ten minutes and sit down and write down in words what your performance goals are for your motorcycle engine and what your investment plan can bear towards achieving those goals.

If you work it right, you can iteratively hop up your Buell one system at a time and have the end product fully integrated and working optimally. If you are reckless you can end up with an empty bank account and a bunch of go-fast parts that don't work so well together.

Please call the folks at Revolution Performance and Cycle Rama and talk to them at length about what you would like in the way of performance. They may recommend different levels of headwork depending upon your goals. They may suggest a new set of pistons to optimally take advantage of the headwork. And, if it is a possibility that you might upgrade to a 1050cc kit at some time in the future, they may adjust the headwork accordingly.

Exhaust and EFI augmentation or reprogramming are also important.

Sorry if you already have considered all this, just don't want you to be disappointed if you miss out on a comprehensive engine performance upgrade strategy.

My view is that the folks at Revolution Performance and Cycle Rama do excellent work, their prices are competitive, and they help pay for this place, so I prefer to recommend them over other shops that shun our little community.

Cycle Rama bikes have won and continue to garner a number of championships, both in drag racing, dyno shootouts, and Land Speed Racing. If you want a Buell to go 200mph+, Cycle Rama is the place to call. : D They don't mess around, they simply know what works.

Brian Nallin, founder and namesake of Nallin Racing Head Service (NRHS), is now running the show at Revolution Performance. Brian was crew chief, lead wrench, and inspiration for two straight ADBA national drag racing championships including a number of world records and a truly impressive unbeaten steak. His brother Richard was the pilot, so credit to the ragin' Cajun Nallin brothers. If you happen to go up against them in a performance challenge, you probably "don't want none."

Alex, I don't know anyone who stands behind their products and their work more honorably, more staunchly than Cycle Rama and Revolution Performance. Performance work is their passion; it is their life, it's all they do. I think experience counts for a lot. They have it. Please take advantage of it.

I think experience counts for a lot.

Yes, and remember, your milage may vary in experience of one vendor over another and the practices chosen at marketing one vendor over another. I do very much remember Mr. Canfield stating that he would have absolutely no problem what so ever sending a blank check to Pammy and Wes at Cycle Rama and I have had the distinct pleasure of sampling some of their work with some very hard street milage on it here locally. Impressed is an understatement...blown away, speechless, astounded... all these are lacking for the words to describe their work. And they seem to have a presence on the board that seems to be lacking in another vendor. Or maybe I just quit sipping the Kuell-Aid for too long and have missed something, which is possible.

Let's get something very straight Tripper. Court offered to write out his infamous blank cheque's AFTER numerous occasions of pointing out to him that he was promoting ONLY NRHS in his posts.

See that there NRHS bit. Doesn't highlight does it? So why is Court linking those four letters to a URL in his last post above? Why would anyone do that? Especially after this same shite was up and running only a couple of weeks ago. Several occasions recently in the XBRR threads, Court's making out like no one's allowed to mention NRHS or Aaron Wilson. That was and is not the issue. Court knows exactly what the situation is. So what's he trying to prove? Of course, Court will ignore this matter, save the odd sarcastic self amusing comment probably, but that's Court and his over inflated ego all over.

Frankly, as nausiating as it is, him and Aaron Wilson can blow as much smoke up each others arse as they please. What's more important though where the BadWeB is concerned, both Court and Aaron are lacking the integrity of friendship towards Blake.

Who cares?
I do.
Sorry for not addressing this earlier, my bad.
I think Aaron's work speaks for itself.
It does.
He also has decided not to sponsor BadWeB.
Our loss.
As I see it a mention of Aaron's business in a mindful way is one thing, But to blatantly advertise is another.
You must think of those that sponsor BadWeB, that keep BadWeB going. What worth is sponsorship if it's not held above advertising for a vendor, or service that does not sponsor BadWeB?
Yes I like Aaron, and I as well as others begged him not to go, went above and beyond begging, but he decided against it, for what ever reason. But, because of him leaving and taking a fair amount of posts with him, we can not allow anyone, even Court, to advertise for him.
Personally, I'd love to see all this just go away, and Aaron come back, and everything be as it once was.

Court, Tripper, and anyone else who needs it:

Too many of your recent postings have been pathetic examples of baiting and nothing more. You don't have a right to an agenda here on Badweb no matter what your contributions in the past may have been. Right now you have degenerated into a little band of snotty boys intent on vandalizing this house with your resentment. Knock it off.

If you can't behave like gentlemen, take it somewhere else. The custodians here have better things to do than follow you boys around with a pooper scooper.

That's it.

Blake,
A question mark means I am asking a question.
In this case, I was asking Court if he thought you(Blake) had removed the post for vindictive reasons.
Nothing to do with Jon (I assume it was he after reading the above post) so I don't see the need to apologise to him.
Simple : )

Rocket, I've known you for some time. You of all people, demanding others to abide by rules, is extremely hypocritical my friend : )
