Olinxb, EVERYTHING beats the stock Dunlops! I have been running BT014's and while they work great they don't last at all. Are you a knee dragging kinda rider? How many miles on the tires so far? How do they seem to wear? I currently have to buy new tires every three months or so..... |

I'm not much of a knee dragger because I live in Kansas City and there just isn't many roads for it around here. I am however a very hard rider as in I ride lots of wheelies and generally beat the crap out of my tires and bike. I think I usually got about 2,000 miles out of the Dunlops. I've had my conti's on for abotu 3,000 already and they have a lot of life left in them. |

Olinxb Thanks for the feed back. Sorry about that Kansas thing.......... I live in the mountains and do a 300 mile canyon ride every almost every week. Total miles riden on a straight road for these rides is less than 30 miles... Can't ride a wheelie to save my life though. |

I had the Conti road attacks and loved them, getting ready to try the Conti sport attacks next. Thought I would see how they compare. A lot of people dog Continental because they do not have the name of the bigger tire brands, but remember they have a lot of the engineers that created some of the best tires from those big name brands. Don't knock them until you try em. (Message edited by thansesxb9rs on January 27, 2006) |

Thansesxb9rs, Man first off you need to shorten that handle it was way hard to type The Contis' seem very popular in Europe (been doing research) and that they are not big here in the U.S. means nothing to me. I also have an European Vemar Helmet that I would put up against any Arai, Shoei, etc. Not to many people have heard of it either. I have been paragliding in the French Alps and watched some motorcyclists tearing up the roads on all kinds of equipment we don't see here in the U.S. Conti has not been represented very well here in the States from what I can tell. Heck, I am still trying to find a SoCal "discount" dealer or a decent deal online. It is tire time so I might as well get a set and try them out. |

Skyguy, ya I would change the handle but naw. I just bought a set off of ebay from assesoriesplus or something like that for $180 with free shipping. When I did my search not very many tires came up but then at the bottom of the page it had a view buy it now products and about 50 items came up. The guy I bought mine from had 30 sets, but I think there was only four left. Heck, I;ll just post up his link. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=4555919650&ss PageName=STRK:MEWN:IT |

cant say on the sport attacks but the road attacks are great so far. cant say on how they do at the track but for street riding and short illegal speed bursts they are great. after 100 miles of spirited sport bike cruising the tires still look new were the 207s would look like I had been racing |

I got 10K out of the road attacks, yes they where at the very end of their life, but the dunlops only lasted 2K. |

Tireexpress has good prices also I'm deciding on the conti force or pilot powers both great prices. I'm leaning toward the powers for down right crazy lean angles and grip. If anyone can tell me that they have had both and they are equal I will buy the conti's, if not I'm going with the powers. |

http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/4062/163519.html?1134890666 Be sure to scroll down to see the letter that the president of North American Sales emailed me. Not the sports, but according to Greg Reich the sports will be much grippier than the roads. And the roads i have no complaints about. I would reconsider the conti-force. The mileage is not as great as the RoadAttacks. I cannot compare to the SportAttack though. Give me a few months. JIM (Message edited by u4euh on January 29, 2006) |
