Logo Spray Over - works well, I've seen it on some trucks..definitely a cool 3-D effect, but I wanted it to contrast with the bike. DarkDuc...if you do your bike, I wanna SEE! |

http://www.line-x.com/faq.htm Scroll down this page and you see they do offer colors! Perhaps just your dealer did not. I love the black on yours but am seriously considering silver. Great idea! Gonna have to buy you a beer if I do it. |

Amazing. When I first read the idea I had horrible visions but that looks a lot better than I could have ever imagined. Nice unique bike. |

Wow, another way-cool paint scheme! Is it very fuel resistant? Too bad the colors don't hold up, I'd take mine in blue! |

Would it be possible to get a photo of the inside of your box... ack! AIRBOX!!! AIRBOX AIRBOX AIRBOX!!! Let me start again: Could we get a photo of the airbox, showing what the inside surface looks like? Myself (and others) are wondering what painting the inside of a blue airbox would look like, and this would give a pretty good idea. Love the Line-X look WAY better than I expected. I wonder how much it'd cost to do my Suburban.... |

Pete, For the record they did not coat the inside of the airbox cover..they wrapped the edges slightly with a thin coat so there wouldn't be any peeling. That is how the Buell logo being cut out will be so awesome with the lights underneath! The flyscreen is coated on both sides. I am absolutely sure the stuff will be gas resistant, as it normally goes into the back of a truck! When I get a chance I'll take a picture of the inside of my Box...um..airbox that is!! HUGS |

Angel, I don't know if you mentioned it before, but how much was it total for them to Line X both parts? |

Cataract it was a whopping $53.00....I can't say one bad thing about it so far..I absolutely love the work. I guess the only thing I would have liked was to do a custom color and not worry about it fading! |

Thank Angel, I'm looking to get each color option for the see through plastic so I can swap mine out when I'm feeling for something different. That color you did just became another option. |

Angel, that is totally sick looking! I like it alot and it's a great option for someone wanting to change their color. I like it alot! Personally I would have just removed the stickers or had them line-x right to the edge of the sticker but I see your point as to why you did what you did. What a great idea, thanks for sharing with us BadWebers. Ken |

Just calling it as I see it. As Angelwild327 is a BuellGirl too I did not want her to misinterpret your post as an attack on her. Females are hard to find around here, are a refreshing change and should be encouraged. |

aww...ok, so there aren't any twisties in Florida, whatsoever..none, nada, zip..SCREW IT! I love my Buell, it's the ONLY bike for me, unless Russell Mitchell decides to grace me with one of his amazing machines. I'm not that good of a rider yet, but when I get better, I will just take trips to those places.. my "CITY CROSS" is perfect here...otherwise I'll just make my own twisties by dodging traffic... you can't offend me, no sweat...I'm tough like Line-X...I'm like a dude anyhow, ask my friends.. I have the soul of a dude dwelling in my brain, his name is Jimmy..um..nevermind..lol The perfect thing is..my man has a Buell, my good friend is getting a Ulysses, and the person responsible for my introduction to Buelliganism lives in Florida too. SOMEDAY..maybe the south Florida Buellers can truly get together and ride. We'll have a BRAG group down here before long.. it's in the works.. HUGS to all you awesome freaks! Awww Angelwild327, there you go talking about me again... Guys, she's the one who convinced me to get rid of my Heritage and buy the Ulysses. She is one class act!! And she's one of my best Buell buddies...on top of everything, she's introduced me to the most amazing woman who is also a Buelligan. Oh, Angie, let me know when you want to take the photos :P |
