So I worked on the few bikes that i had to work ontoday...a XB12S and a Blast that now runs better than ever lol, and a few other H-Ds....so i was bored as hell and thought hhmmm i wonder if i can get the high beam flasher switch to make the break light come on Vs. the high beam...so like 30min later the switch flashes the break light.yeah its stupid but i may use it to get a few cages off my ass with out hittin the breaks. |

I like that idea too since I've never had use for the flasher switch, except as a possible nitrous trigger in the future.(stealth mount with bottle in frame hole) The brake light flasher would probably be the smarter option and easier on my license. |

I find myself clickin on the front break lightly cause that switch is so loud you can here it before the breaks start to grab but that sounds like a much better idea. |

I think you are giving up a most usefull safety feature , just pull front brake lightly as mentioned . Manual calls it a passing lamp , I call it a wake-up lamp , soccer moms w/ the whole team along pullin off a side street , pull it and hold it well ahead of time , never flash it , gives mixed signal. Me and the mates have also worked out a morse code communication system...... |

I never really ever used the flasher due to that i have the headlights wired so that they are both on when i have high beam on (i have it on high all of the time)if i did need to flash it i just gotta move the high/low switch. No no plans for the ol' B-day yet at least this year i will be in town. last year i was at HDU...crappy 21st b-day it was. Ill let you all know how to do rewire it tomarow, i cant remember off the top of my head lol, i just need to look at the extra harness that i have so i can get all the correct wire colors and stuff. |

Too funny Mike! I was there too on our birthday at a meeting for Rider's Edge last year. We met off site over the weekend, and then on Monday we were at Juneau Av. in the classrooms. I ALMOST ended up there this year but my mother is flying in for a visit, so I get to stay here in Seattle! |

Orlando in April? That sounds really depressing! We could use a little sunshine here in the northwest! |
