Well, since I need to be in FL for a Performance Group meeting prior to the CCS race weekend, I'm trying to angle some riding time in. Let's see if I can get the family & GM to go for that. Of course, my plan is to follow the race team truck on my bike anyway Too bad, really. If I could have worked it to ride down just before the race, it would have been nice to have a Buell contingent roar up to the gates at Daytona to set the proper mood! Ha! BTW - When is the S2 going to be done, Court? |

Would you be willing, on Saturday evening, to join me for a session of "Remind me to tell you . . . great moments at Buell"? Court, if I can work out getting there I would love to. I am getting closer. Money is seriously tight this year however. My wife took a huge pay cut to work from home and stay off the road so we are pinching pennies pretty hard these days. |

Looks like you sacrificed some poor unfortunate creature on your cam gears. Didn't the racers try that one year and not fair too well? |

Gads...it does look odd. I'm betting there is some reason for it. Aaron has a reputation for making things that not only work well, but are reliable beyond belief. Ron Dickey will get a hand in phase 3 of the project and it's time to start hunting down JB2 for the bodywork. If for no other reason I'm glad to be "saving" this historic S-2 while there are discussions ongoing about chopper Buells. This baby has seen 44 of the contiguous 48 and I can't wait to see the finished product. |
