Hey guys, I'm pretty new to Buell and to the BadWeb. This has been an incredible information source, even just by reading the threads. Anyway...I'm looking to replace the lollipops on my '05 XB9S, but I'm not too fond of bar-end mirrors. Any suggestions? |

With all do respect, I would take a second look at the bar end mirrors. On the S models, they are the way to go. Check out the CRG mirrors on Bevelheaven.com. |

I'd go with the new Rizoma Circuit 851's from Trojan Horse if I ever get rid of my CRG. Tom |

Check Trojan. For some reason it's not letting me post links. Just go to Trojans site through the sponser section. click on other on their site and scroll around for the mirrors under the catagory. |

Any one of the sponsors on this board can sell you CRG or any other mirror that will fill your need. |

I have a fairly inexpensive set that I got from Trojan and think they are great. They accent the bike very nicely, are very solid and have a good viewing area. |

David/Kyle: Nice photos of the mirrors. I see the Trojans have a longer stem. How is the view with them, in your opinion? |

I like it. First of all you set them and forget them. They do not vibrate out of position like the stock lollipops do. Once I got them where I wanted them, I have never needed to re-adjust them. Id have to re-adjust my stock ones if I was on the bike for an hr The viewing area is shorter but wider and works fine. IMO you see the same amount, it is just in a different shape. That takes 1 trip to get used to |

I can't seem to locate Trojan's web site. I must say, that green bike with the white racing stripe looks awesome. Good job jimduncan69! So what kind of paint do you have to use to get it to stick the plastic pieces? |

thank you very much adrenoline_junkie! my friend painted it for me... he used a special primer on it made for plastic parts. then a base coat. but all the color come's from the pearl. it is sprayed over black base coat. it is called a shade shifting pearl. it changes from a dark green to a dark blue. kind of like a chamelion paint. |

Daves- will take a set of those mirrors in black. Also, can you get Buell part # 51360-034? If you can, how much for that part and the mirrors. If not, how much for the mirrors. I will send you a M.O. Thanks! |

Here's some photos of options that I have found so far... The following are available on Trojan's website: These are available through blitz4buell.co.uk I think I'm going with the 'Golf Club' mirrors through Trojan (third picture down, which are available in black for about $24 each). Hope this helps with your searches as well. |
