It's different! Pipe fitted to a XB12R Close-up of the 4" outlet Overhead view.

Indeed! The Mk2 version. Better construction, better quality (made entirely from stainless-steel including the silencer internals). |

It looks like grapefruit shooter exhaust for a civic slapped on a xb12. What is the point of the giant tip?? |

Looks like a sewer pipe to me... but I've never been a fan of the import car scene. Those guys will probably love it. I remember one of those guys telling me that his exhaust tip gained him 5 hp. RIGHT I walked away at that point, the intelligent conversation had obviously ended at some point before that statement. He was trying to explain how he had made mods that added up to some ridiculous hp figure on his civic. He had this idea that hp gains are cumulative, obviously he'd never been near a dyno in his life. |

My favorite: http://ricecar.com/ a parody of the ricers complete with garden edging ground effects, timex tach, removable rear doors, "floating speakers" and of course, a huge wood wing. |

Different strokes for different folks. Only concern for me would be that you might lose lean angle on the left side of the bike from the outlet. As in it will scrap the ground. Otherwise that's interesting to say the least. As for the ricers, ever had one want to race you on your bike? I'm getting tired of handing them their asses. My favorites are the "FAST and FURIOUS" import racers with....automatic transmissions! They sound so ridiculous with their fart can blurting as the try to reach 60 in under 10 seconds... |

You mean the "Dumb & the Curious?" I hate the fart cans too, but you have to admit, they squeeze some ponies out of those little motors at the professional levels. They're not all Jap cars though. The NOPI NDRA champion was Jason Hunt in his Pontiac Sunfire... and here's a Chevy Cobalt... In Japan drift racing was big! I love to watch a good driver make his way around a course... Oh that link is funny! Sad thing is someone actually will drive that thing around, get out and have his pants down around his knees, cap on sideways, and think he is the 'shiznit', if that is the word they use nowadays. About the pipe, I wonder what it sounds like. it's your bike, mod it like you want. Clearance does seem to be hindered on the left side, have you checked it out yet? |

Maybe it's a sign of my age increasing, but one thing I detest are those 'amazing' farting cars. 1313 |

I felt the same way, until I was hit by the bright white light on the way home one night -- these guys are having fun with their rides, gents -- they may not be dropping big blocks into Checker Marathons, or leaned on mouse motors into Vegas, but they're enjoying themselves . . . . their mods may not be my cuppa, but they're getting greasy and smiling -- good enough for me ;-} |

Having fun is one thing. Going around acting like you car is the hottest thing on the road and challanging every car/bike there is is another thing. The guys that do this around here are @$$ hats to say the least. |

Cat -- agreed, for sure -- that's one thing that's not changed in the ranks of gearheads since day one, I'm thinkin -- it's the one's who are quiet that can wax everyone -- |
