Paul Lytle (Buellgator) is the owner of Gainsville HD and he asked me to post these pics of his personal '03 XB9R Firebolt. It has a 1050 kit and stage 3 heads. Kevin originally made him a standard drummer tuned for a 1050 which gave great results. Now he has installed a Drummer SS on the bike and it performs even better. It added 3HP peak and flattened the torque curve in addition to the original gains. I'm sure Buellgator can add more detail as I'm getting the facts second hand from Kevin.

The pipe gained throughout the midrange, and of course those final gains are only peak gains. It gained about 4-5hp through the midrange and 1-3 ft.-lbs. through the midrange. It looks pretty sick on the bike, I love the look of these things without the chin fairings. Took it out and ran it last night, and the sound is good and the bike runs stronger than ever!!! EDIT: Thanks for posting these pics up Steve!!! (Message edited by BuellGator on December 21, 2005) |

That is simply awesome. I wish the 9R was still available in wht with orange graphics. With that SS pipe it just sizzles. |
