I was wondering what the badwebbers use for outdoor bike covers? My XB12S won't have the benefit of garaging next season, and I don't like the idea of leaving it exposed to the elements, or to the prying eyes when I'm not around. Any suggestions or advice to point me in the right direction? |

Currently I am using the Covermax Silver Urethane XM103SU, it works fine. The Covermax WeatherShield XN103 will also fit, could be better the name does imply that it would cope better with the weather... But then I have never had a cover that really protects the bike from the elements, every time it has rained all my bikes get wet (regardless of cover). I have used several other covers but simply cannot recall the brands. The only combination that I have found to work is using the big blue plastic tarps from the hardware store to put over the already covered bike. Hope this helps |

this may not be an option for you, space wise. but have you thought of getting one of those small moveable storage sheds. a friend of mine has one that he bought for a few hundered bucks. we put it together and it works fairly well for him to keep a bike or two and some odds and ends in |

I've been using the Buell Armor Cloak covers since February 1998. I'm on my 2nd cover, the bike stays outside on the back patio no cover, entirely exposed to the elements. That 2nd cover is still good for another couple years. Best bike covers I've ever seen. The Armor Cloak cover for the S1/M2 should fit the XB12S fine. Seriously, hands down, walking away, the Buell Armor Cloak cover is the best I've ever seen. Very robust and with the soft lining. Really top shelf. |

I second the Armor Cloak. Got it for the Blast but it works well on the SX. It is a bit baggy now that the lollypop mirrors are gone but it does the job. And it says BUELL on the front. Dont know if they are still available. They are not on the Buell web site anymore. |

Unfortunately I won't be able to put up a shed, it's a great idea, but not feasible right now. Hmmm, maybe someone will chime in with info on the Armor Cloak. If it was a Buell part/accessory, maybe I should call Daves? Is it a full cover, or just a half cover? |

Its a full cover. Dont have a pic but its light greyish with Buell in blue on the front. |

Here ya go. Dont mind the wrinkles in the cover. Its been rolled up in a ball since the SX has been in the dungeon. Cloaked Uncloaked

I have a Gezagear (pro-series) and it's very nice and can even be used while towing the bike. |
