I searched the knowledge base for this, and didn't find it. Then I posted in the knowledge base and got no response. Here it is and hopefully somebody will chime in with some info:

When I installed my new header (2004 XB12), I noticed that the original nuts were relatively loose. It's a wonder they didn't vibrate off. When I installed the new one, I used distorted thread centerlock nuts. Since these have their own inherent drag due to the distorted thread construction, I would assume that the torque spec would need to be adjusted accordingly. If this is true, is there a simple rule of thumb (like add 3 lb-ft) to use in determining the proper torque?

I would try about five ft-lbs more to start with. retorque it in a couple of days.
