The November 2002 issue of Roadracing World & Motorcycle Technology has a road test article on the XB9R and an intro test/evaluation on the XB9S. RRW loves 'em both. The guy reviewing the XB9S is a former 250 GP racer. If you are contemplating laying down cash for a new bike, you owe it to yourself to read the unbiased opinions of the RRW staff. Very refreshing. http://www.roadracingworld.com Subscribe now! |

It's interesting to note that the guys who are actually racers, who rip around the tracks on the fastest bikes around, find the Buells to be such great road bikes. It seems they have no aspirations to own the fastest or most powerful street bike. They save that for the track. On the street, they want something more easily controllable and efficiently tractable. I'll see if RRW will give me permission to post the articles here. Otherwise you'll have to wait a few months until they put the articles online themselves. It seems Don Canet was also at the press intro of the XB9S. I'll be interested to see his writeup in CW. He set best time on the Battle Trax course on the XB9S and also apparently let the rubberside come up on a Blast. |

Just in case the RRW folks check in here, I just subscribed to that magazine just last week based completely and soley on recommendations I had seen regarding the magazine on this forum. I am probably not the only one. Bill Kilgallon |

Yeah, I subscribed a few months ago since it seemed to be THE magazine to have if you wanted to race. However, I have been pleasantly surprised by all of their non-race news and coverage. Each day/review/post I get a little bit closer to having an XB9S in my garage. |
