Anybody use the Gilles rearsets on there XBS? What are your thoughts? I have used them on my friends 05' ZX10R and I love them compared to the stock setup he had. |

The Gilles rearsets are expensive as hell, like over $600 bucks. You can get a se of really nice Woodcraft CFM rearsets for like $350. They are really nice, have seen then on a track Buell and I had a set of them on my SV650. Footpegs are replaceable and cheap. It places the footpegs in a more upward and backward position, to increade cornering clearance and provide imcreased control by being solid mounted. Don't squirm as much as the stockers do. They are made of billet aluminum, so they are stronger, and have replaceable footpegs and shifter pegs so crashes are easily fixed. |

I have a set of the Woodcrafts on my XB9R...I like them. The shifter lever has a couple of positions for mounting the linkage...I put mine closer to the pivot point to make the shifting "slower" for the same foot movement.

These are the gilles rearsets in gold. I can get them for 399.00 so for the price they seem to be much more ajustable than the woodcraft. However, Woodcraft is a local company (being from MA)
