This is a pick of an XB I saw while at Laconia in June of this year. I had forgotten about it until I was looking over some other picks I had filed. Pretty sweet looking ride!

Hey, I know that XB - he's part of our BRAG club in NH. He doesn't like to ride in the rain because it's too hard to clean afterwards. |

I would imagine so. Nothing says, "ticket me" more than a bring yellow and polished aluminum bike. LOL! |

That was down at Meridith HD for Buell days too. The yellow wheels are not unique. one of the sales people (female type) had one with yellow wheels as well.

I know I may be outside the norm, but aren't all of us Buellers, but I hate chrome. I think a black frame and swingarm would have accented the yellow better. Just MHO. |

I have a yellow lightning too but I can't comment on this one! Like Mac said, I'm going to go with a graphite color frame and arm thats similar to the 12 color. Same with my rims but I will keep the polished lip. |

GOOD IDEAS EVERYBODY. KEEP YOUR BIKES LOOKING GOOD, AND DONT TURN THEM INTO GARBAGE LIKE THE ONE POSTED ABOVE. THATS WRONG ON SOO MANY LEVELS. IT JUST LOOKS LIKE A HAYABUSA WITH BETTER LINES THAT HANDLES GREAT. (IF YOU CATCH MY DRIFT) |

I think the frame is very practical. When riding to your local bike night to pose, you can just use the frame as a mirror to see if you have helmet head. Just remember kids....Black is the new chrome. |

But isn't pink the new black? So if A = B, and B = C, then A must = C... Therefore pink is the new chrome... Black just seems a little more menacing to me... Maybe the polishing is to blind his would be opponents in races? |

this reminds me of the old harley saying...."chrome wont get ya home...but it'll get ya laid" to each is own, I like black better myself |

Looks like the owner put a lot of effect, work, and pride into the machine. I would bet it runs good too. |

Chris, Here are some ideas for a carbon framed yellow XBS, with an R tail. |

Like it or not it is someones pride and joy. And it is a Buell. Taste is in the eye of the beholder. I still haven't figured out how to eat with my eyes yet tho.

I've tried that too, but right out of the bottle it just runs every where all over the place. When I tried a straw it poked me in the eye and hurt real bad.

alot of people on this board are getting kinda bashed without even knowing it. anyone ever noticed how many of the buells that are on here have polished frames? there are alot. mine doesnt, but it might at some point. i like black, i like polished, all has to do with the way its represented on the bike when i look at it. i go for the simple and clean look, and yes u can pull it off with a polished frame and the right color combination. think the reason the yellow one is getting such a hard time is because it's so, in your face bright. hey, i love my buells, but i'll ride with anyone. just like i love my arctic cats but will ride with any brand any year, new or old. its all about the fun factor for me |

THE BIKE MIGHT NOT BE SO BAD IF HE DIDNT GO OVERBOARD BY PAINTING THE WHEELS YELLOW. EVEN PINK WHEELS WOULD LOOK BETTER. THAT IS JUST WAAAAYY TOO MUCH YELLOW IN A SMALL PACKAGE. |

doesn't look like to much yellow to me. I think the polished bits and yellow balance out nicely. Again "beauty is in the eye of the beholder." |

It really doesn't look as overpowering yellow in person. At least I don't think so. For some reason the yellow looks much brighter in the picture.

It the owner wants to get rid of the those yellow rims, I'd trade him and pay the shipping! Gangsta black isn't for everyone! Every been to the races, all kinds of colors on bikes, meaning racing bikes of course. |

Well I like it as mine looks very similar. However I have left the rims polished as I think if the wheels are all polished it's to much. http://mysite.wanadoo-members.co.uk/norriesbuellxb9s/images/5-picture1.gif?0.876 309152704452 Norie. |

I think a partially polished frame would look sweet. Like the cutouts for your legs? So if you're on it and riding, it wouldn't look different. But if you got off, it would look like something is missing. (but I am with Buellin_ri "I like riding not cleaning." ) |
