this may be a stupid question but here it goes any way. my buddy and i have a slight disagreement on what the wheels for the XB's are made of. are they aluminum or are they magnesium? will some one help me out with this so i can shut him up. thanks..... and i hope you answer is aluminum |

As far as I know they are in fact aluminium |

Magnesium wheels would be mucho dinero. I think they are stock on the $30,000 Ducati 999R. My vote is aluminum. NUTS |

I think they are some of the best stock wheels ever.. just wish i had them in black... someon wanna get rid of their black wheels.. or a few guys go in on getting them powder coated?! |

IF you want them powdercoated.. xbcrazy does that sort of stuff.. look at his (the black one) bike in the Liberty Racing thread, he did the powder coating on that bike, might make good sense to help support folks here on the BadWeb. Not a solicitation, just something he mentioned in conversation one time. |

Blublak...That is absolutely true, I am able to provide powdercoating services however I have never mentioned it here because the dealership that I work for is not a sponsor on this site. Definitely Aluminum. But the paint color may be called "Magnesium Gray" or some such thing. Saw a guy on ebay once selling his Buell "Titanium" wheels. The paint color was "Titanium", the wheels are all aluminum. : |
