I should be getting my Tsukigi exhaust this week. I have had one for awhile now on my Hayabusa and its quality is second to none. And performance is very impressive also. Does anybody have any experience with one on a Buell? |

CycleWorld just did a review of one mounted on an XB12. They weren't impressed. I love the titanium plating, though. |

I've heard about this pipe, but I haven't seen any pics, data or heard any clips. (Message edited by Indy_bueller on October 09, 2005) |

Definitely looks sweet from the cycleworld pic. They said it had 5 hp gain in mid range, but holes in top and bottom. Sounds to me like it makes HP where most people ride. and did I mention it looks really sweet? titanium coated stainless. |

Yeah, the custom race pipes run by the big boys are nice. I've heard them run. they make a GLORIOUS noise. Raised some hackles with the club members at the Autobahn race though. You can definitely tell when a Ritchie Morris, Walt Sipp, or a Hal's bike comes around. Hopefully we'll be running something similar next season too. I just posted elsewhere about the Beson pipe. Really incompatible with street use. You have no idea how seriously loud it is AND you will have to weld in an oxygen sensor for use in closed-loop FI systems since it's designed for open-loop programmable engine controls. Beson will not knowingly sell to non-racers. You cannot race it on ANY track on the planet that does noise monitoring - like Autobahn. At the CCS/FUSA races in Autobahn, I walked around and saw what the Hals bikes had to do to try to muffle the sound some. Cool pipes but the wrong way to go for a streetbike. |
