The speedometer on my XB9SX is slow about working of the morning. This morning I had to stop and turn the switch off and back on before it worked. Anyone else with this problem? |

Mine doesn't work at all :} When mine died it just died, no sputtering or warning of any sort that something was wrong. I looked around the boards a bit and found that the speedo sensor will sometimes go bad on an XB after you've hit your rev limiter pretty hard, which I did. |

access speedo sensor( right near countershaft sprocket, aft of starter) remove sensor, wipe debris off, re-install sensor, and test for proper speedo operation. |
