Anyone have to adjust their suspensions when they installed their jardine? If so what did you change your settings to? I'm about 215 and just wanting a few different takes on suspension set up. I just tried to set up my static sag and everything but it doesn't work real well when you have progressive suspension. :-\ |

I'm not sure I understand what diff. changing the muffler has to do with the suspension settings. You are talking about a 10lb. diff. between mufflers. There is a chart in the service manual that tells you what settings to put your suspension at based on your weight. |

I'm not sure why progressive suspension would change the usual rule for suspension baseline setup. |

With the Vance and Hines which weighed in at 7lbs, I backed off the "aggresive" settings by a quarter turn on compression and rebound front and rear, and half a line for preload on the forks. Bike balanced right back out. That 10lbs difference is noticeable when its a part of the bike more then part of the rider. |
