Rode my Firebolt for the first time last night following a friend. When we stopped, he asked why my parking lights werent on. (turn signal lights) Are they supposed to be on all the time? I know both the Harleys I've owned had lights on all the time and his Blast had them on too. Is there something wrong with my baby or is it normal? Thanks |

your baby is fine the Buells turn signals are never on. If you Blast ran with the lights on that makes me wonder cause non of the Blast's light i have seen or riden had the light on all the time. |

Running lights to the rear really improve visibility to the rear. On my K1200RS I installed dual-filament sockets. Later, I installed Run-n-lites (led's that fit in the housings) FWIW, amber lights to the rear are technically illegal - it's unlikely you'd get stopped for them, but it might be hard to pass inspection (for states that have inspection) First chance I get I'm going to investigate the options for improving the rear lighting on the Firebolt |

I guess you're right. Tonight while I was leaving work, I looked at all the other bikes that were running (I work at Harley-York) and all the Harleys had the front lights on but a Blast and an X1 didn't. Never really thought about it but what about other brands? Is it just a Harley thing to have them on? |
