Seen a few buells there. One of them exploded a rear tire in a burn out contest at the Full Throttle. Put a new one on and came back and did another burn out lol. |

I was there, first time. Stayed at Bear Butte Creek campground. Think I saw more Honda's than Buell's. Too many pokey Electra Glides on the road to take advantage of the curves that seem made for my Firebolt, but a fun time nevertheless. |

You don't want to push the envelope on the roads there during the Event anyway, way too many wandering riders looking at scenery and living the moment and not paying attention to where they are in the roadway. I'll probably go next year, maybe. |

I was there toward the end of the week. I agree, not a good time to try and rip up the twisties, my suggestion is to go at the end of the week and stay over a few day after it ends. That way you go see everything that is happening in town, then go ride the twisties after most of the people leave. |

I went to Sturgis once. Won't be back. The cops are crooked as f*ck and will have your bike towed for no reason other than to line their own pockets with kickbacks from the towtruck operators. You can also forget about "due process" whilst you're there. It's clear the cops have. Bob |
