Was just fooling around when I ran into this post: http://www.aussiebuellriders.info/vt2/viewtopic.php?p=42&sid=b875b55437c26975052 6ae93f163696b#42 Anyone seen this yet? |

He raises a few good questions about the drummer dyno runs. Why does the drummer make 32 hp at 3000rpm on one run and 40 hp at 3000rpm on another? And WHAT IS up with an XB revving to 12,000 rpm? |

Why does 2 Cylinders Exist? 2 Cylinders.com has been designed and implemented by the ABR-Crew. This site was started as an alternative for Aussie Buell Riders. Recently Aussie Buell Riders has been under seige from international riders wishing to become a member of Aussie Buell Riders. We dont wish to have ABR watered down with international members and as such have started 2Cylinders. 2Cylinders accounts for buell and also all other types of twins, from cruisers to choppers to race replicas. This site is for anyone that loves twins and i dont just mean the female type Twisted Evil 2 Cylinders is a site for bike lovers and riders this site is not sponsored and is not goverened by the sponsorship $$ such as faggy sites like loserweb. We allow all product peddlers to push there warez as much as they want and could care less about selling out to sponsors and bowing to there opinions. If you want a one sided sponsors view then go to badweb. Here everyone is welcome and everyones opinion is valid. Here we want to know about bikes and the biker scene and we want to be exposed to all products and decide for ourselves which brand and product is best, not have that decision made for us by admins with there pockets full of sponsors cash. Have a good day and enjoy this site. Kinda says it all. Even though he contradicts himself, saying if you ain't from here you ain't welcome, but everyone is welcome? Let 'im play his games, I'm just glad he took the advise he was offered and started his own forum where he can act the way he wants. |

foul language and a bad attitude...good riddance This is the only website I have ever used where I trust the other members inherently (as long as they have a reasonable user history.) I recently sent out a Buell promo CD to someone because he wanted one and I had it... another member is sending me an oil tank because I need it to get back on the road. My payment and the tank are going to pass each other in the mail. He trusted me enough to send out the tank, likewise I was not worried about sending a check. I like it here just fine. |

Ok, so everyone here hates this wookie guy. That's fine I don't care either way, but what about the points he made? What about the dyno charts? Lets address his questions instead of ducking them. Ducking his questions seems to lend merit to them. |

Mookie, Be careful or... I shall smite thee! Really though, if you want to insult me, or this site, or our policies, please feel free to head on over to the site listed above. A better idea might be to shun the negative and look to the positive. I'd sure appreciate all the help I can get along those lines. Cheers, Blake |

Baldy, You have furthur brought it to my attention that you can't read the dyno sheets of any sort, it's not rpm you are viewing, it is time in seconds....I've been tested against almost all slip-ons , systems and there will only be more tests as the Drummer is still produced, so learn to read, I was asked to build a pipe that made the bike perform across the board and there it is, if you want peak numbers, I'll gladly sell you a drag pipe for $40.00 bucks....I know I'm not the only person who can make a pipe or system, I only made what I was asked to make...If you like it fine, if you don't well that's fine too, dates are not necessary on dyno sheets , if you want the dates let me know, they started at 6/11/03, first Drummer sold was in the month of September 03, 4 months of testing .... Kevin, It's not Baldy who's making the statements-it's Bent "Woodie" (my choice for his handle)thats making the comments. Baldy was just bringing it to our attentions. |

P.S. Kevin, I too am guilty of not being able to read a dyno sheet. When I took a look at the dyno charts in question, I saw four charts. 3 of the 4 are labeled RPM across the horizontal axis, the other apears to have the bottom of the chart "chopped off" by the photo. I mistook that as RPM also. Now that you state that the x-axis is "time", everything makes sense. That null & voids "Wookies" claim that the horsepower figures differ at 3000 RPM AND that 12,000 rpm was attained. I have a great deal of respect for what you do & the product that you produce, I was however just looking for an explanation for the questions raised. Thank you! |

I thought you annotated that chart to indicate the X-axis was in seconds. Must not have took. There is a discussion about that chart somewhere here on BadWeB from a year or so ago. If I can find it, I'll post a link. Interesting way to display performance. I like some things about it and don't like some things about it. Would be great if the rpm was also shown, at least at the beginning. That 2-cylinders guy is pretty silly if he thought the chart went to 12K rpm. |

Kevin... Don't kill the messenger (ME) I was just surfing around other buell forums and stumbled across this 2cylinders thing and BAMM!! Badmouthing the site and you and yours.... On another note though, (sorry, I don't know if this was answered already, and it probably was many moons ago) All the dyno charts for the Drummer/D&D/Race kit are off the same dyno/bike with only a race ECM and airbox ....no TFI right? |

Blake, I wasnt calling out names and i do understand i might have come off as negative, but at times if you look outside bwb, it seems that when we buellers communicate with others, we get along better. I guess i just get frustrated at times because alot of harley riders shun others for not riding a harley. oh yeah, you smite me and ill program a robot to take your job. |

Baldy, All the dynos are of the same bike same dyno same tech running the dyno and they were all done in 2003....no tfi was used on the Drummer, only the new 12 Drummer loud version was dynoed with the tfi ... Kevin www.kdfab.com |
