A very fun article, as I posted on another thread. Glad to see riders of the caliber of Chris Walker, Matt Oxley, Steve Westlake, Mike Armitage, etc. think so highly of the bike I ride. Hopefully this thread doesn't degrade into Buell bashing and related personal insults like the other. If it does, Blake could you please delete all such posts? We've already heard enough. |

Well, the riders did say that if you remove the "exceeding expectations" ranking, then the Buell drops to number two and the Duc 999R is number one. |

The opening pictures says "Firebolt" with a picture of a Lightening. I guess that fairing and more aggressive riding position really makes a difference, the Lightening did only half as well as the Firebolt. |

Take note of, page 68, the "999cc in-line four", 181mph. Yeap that's how they describe their #1 choice... the XB12R! Those American models are hard to figure out~ |

I just took another look at the article... It looks like they used an '05 XB12SCG for the "S" test. That would explain it if you ask me. Lower pegs... |
