Blake no problem, I have it laying around. I put it up for sale, but nobody wanted it. Maybe after the shootout I find a buyer, or have it forever. What You think about a sound shootout? I think many want nice sound and can except 1 HP less. M1, thanks. I will try your advise. I had the 4th pot at 8.15 and it just made it worst (try 7.30 tomorrow). Rene |

Seems some don't know what they are talking about. Seems some seek confrontation. Better would be to post something of actual value to the board and quit wasting expensive bandwidth on ignorant derisive sniping. |

>>>Seems some don't know what they are talking about It's an epidemic....but, hey...it's the internet. Think we should have an "entrance exam" where folks are tested on basic manners and decorum. Nah...I wanna stay. Some folks are just not very bright. Unfortunately they, on the internet, are the ones that shine the brightest. Court |

Blake, when you do the recordings, include some sort of absolute reference. Most recordings will use some sort of automatic gain control circuit, so there will be no easy way to do volume comparisons. Maybe have a stock bike, or some other benchmark, idling first, then additionally start up the bike being checked. The degree to which the original bike gets "muted" will give aural clues as to the relative volumes. Or just borrow a DB meter. That'd work also. |

"...ignorant derisive sniping" Good thing there's no entrance exam. However if people keep talking like this I will have to draw the line. Not sure if this is some form of a hunting game or what. I know it's a lot of syllables. |

I would like to honestly and sincerely apologize to BadWeb members and anyone else I may have offended. I deeply regret the start of this thread. Although I had only the best intentions, it was not my place or right to make such accusations or statements. I’d also like to say that I have lost sleep and peace of mind over this thread. Looking back over my career, I have also many times been guilty of reverse engineering. I have been hired and paid by companies to do just that. There are a lot of fine products to choose from and one size doesn’t fit all. Blake I have a sound level meter that I would like to send to help with the testing. If you need it send me an email with the shipping address. Lots of love to all and God Bless Mike Norris |

BTW Blake I see that you are doing sound clips. If you need help or advise to get the sound as correct as possible. One of my club members is a sound engineer for a Local Milwaukee New station TMJ4.He did the Drummer sound clip that Kevin and company is using as of now. That would Be John aka Impulse101.Give him a shout I'd think he'd like to help as much as he can. It warms my heart to see Dana and Mike being nice to each other. Maybe this dumb thread had some value after all. It takes a tough guy to apologize, Mike. You are a stand up guy in my book. |

Wow, a great conclusion and all is again well on the BadWeB. It takes a LOT of good character and integrity to apologize like that. Big respect to you Mike. I'll start another thread when the time comes for the muffler testing. The sound equipment sounds like a great idea. |
