Ok it's been almost a week now that we have looked and maybe dreamed about Buell's new bikes. Some are really nice but if I had to buy one today I would still have bought my City X in Blue. The Ulysses is OK but I still like the looks of the Lighting. I ride one up so I don't need the longer Lighting thou the larger tank would be nice. By the way. Whats with all this yellow bike stuff? The Ulysses looks a lot better in the black and the XB9R were great looking in the white or blue but two years in a row with yellow. Have seen a number of Buells on the road but never have seen a yellow Firebolt.

My last bike was yellow, i liked it. visibility seemed higher while in traffic too, especially with yellow jacket on as well.

Claudia on this board has a yellow Firebolt, man, that thing got looks and comments galore with the bright yellow plastics and two-tone white/silver wheels. great looking bike.

i'm all about the black though, so I agree with you that the Ulysses looks better in black. Two-tone seat is cool though. i would have to add the Ulysses to the stable, not replace my 12S. She's too special ; )

I agree on all counts. I love my 12R and can't see getting rid of it any time soon. Yes, I would love to get a second bike sometime in the future, but I don't see anything ever replacing my Bolt. Oh yeah, it's the black one too.......

This reminds me of those commercials where the guys say Yellow is your color.

Sounds girlish. S.l.a.u.g.h.t.e.r was much more apropriate for a Buell racer. Wazzup?

I have had a couple of yellow bikes...share the same feeling as Typeone...felt more visible. In fact, I would like to have a yellow XB9R to go with my yellow XB9S, but I guess I will have to sell one of my step-children (bikes) before I can do that.

BTW, currently have a couple of black bikes too, so I am not slamming black...black is always in.

Naawww.

I'm a Monty Python fan. So many people here and elsewhere are complaining about being oppressed, they remind me of the character "Stan" in "The Holy Grail" who claims he's being oppressed because he's not allowed to have a baby.

Everybody was asking about being allowed to be "Anonymous"

Hell, my (temporarily former) user name here is my real, given Family name. Seems not too many people use their real names when posting.

Folks get to taking themselves too seriously.

I'll still go racing - soon as I finish physical therapy and pay off the rest of the medical bills from February's high-side. Might be a couple more months. I've only been out of the wheelchair for 2 months.

Ouch!

Somehow I knew there was something wrong with that comment I made - I forgot about your accident.

I'm sorry Steve.
