There are now 2 Tank Bags listed on the website: 91213-04Y vs 91213-04YA Same price. What's the diff? I presume the A is an updated model? |

Descriptions are identical. I have the first one. It overlaps the area where the new intake vents are. I would guess they modified the mounting hardware slightly to accommodate for this. |

Dave - they have are actually three versions of the bag...one old one, and two of the "new" bags. One for the 03 - 05 (91213-04Y), one for 03 and newer (91213-04YA). I have the 91213-04Y and it has a handle on the front for carrying - it doesn't look like the "A" version has that either. I guess someone will have to buy the newest one and compare. Dave, if you get one in you should compare it. |

Hopefully the new tank bags have addressed the main zipper problem. My bag's zipper won't stay zipped: the zipper is too small for the application, the zipper teeth (it's a coil type) lie right on the bend/corner of the bag's top/lid, and that flap thing on each side of the zipper gets caught under the zipper pull (maybe it's supposed to be) and causes the teeth to "un-mesh". My dealer played dumb and said I'm the 1st to report this problem... "you could have someone install a new zipper", he says. |

Cortech Tri-bag! I love my bag. BIG zippers. Pack for the whole weekend. |

Those flaps on each side of the zipper are to help keep water out. It works pretty well too! My bike sat in a thunderstorm with downpours for two hours...no water in the tail pack and only a few drops worth in the tank bag. It's nice to have a bag that I don't have to panic about if I forget the rain cover! I've noticed once in a rare while it's tricky to get the zipper closed, but I've never had the zipper come unzipped. |

Hey Charlieboy6649, I must admit I wasn't looking outside the Buell line for a tank bag, but that Cortech Tri-bag looks huge!! Can you give a review? Does it ever get in your way? Any info appreciated, thanks... |

Can you see the gauges when loaded? Does it get in the way of filling the tank? etc.. |

The bags really are great! They are two bags that can be used separately (one large bag, one small/expandable), or zipped together to make luggage. They are huge, pack for the weekend, go ahead, and come with a rain cover. The map carrier is on both bags so it's always usable. The big bag has backpack straps which can come in handy. Mounting is secure (make sure you order the strapped model (non-magnetic) for obvious reasons. Very durable product, BIG zippers. As far as getting in the way, I havn't had a problem, but I have gorilla arms. Note: Wycked is of the smaller variety and he's the one that turned me on to them. He rode just fine too... When the bags are stuffed full, viewing of the cockpit is nill unless you peek around the bag...but I'll take that inconvenience to gain the storage that this roomy bag gives me any day. I'd prefer the weight up front vice in saddlebags myself. Puts it in the triangle... |

Double what Charlieboy6649 said. I love my Cortech TRi bag.It helps block the wind on an S when fully stuffed. You can also lean on it to relax. |

Dave, what is the price for the tank bag that you have in stock. In Canada they want $275 which is a lot more than the converted $us price. Thanks |
