Hello Dave, My name is Darcy and I am new to the board...I am up in Canada and I have been so happy to have found this site.I am up in Edmonton Canada I am on an 04' sporty but have decided to upgrade to the XB12Ss..my questions to you are: 1) I notice you all over the board getting parts and bikes for folks on here...where are you located? 2)Are there other folks from Canada that have got stuff from you? how was the shipping / would it be worth it to me to try to get a bike thru you? I am very unimpressed with the dealers here and would much rather support someone from here.... |

Me, all over Badweb? No I have a few customers from Canada that get their stuff from me. Maybe they will chime in? I've not had any problems sending stuff, I send it US postal most of the time, it is cheaper that way. As far as getting you a bike. It is against the rules for me to sell new bikes outside US. I have checked before and they won't let me do it. Let me know what you need for your new Buell! You are going to love it. |

Hey Dave? How many pieces would you have to break a bike down into to get past that little rule? |

Could you just fly in and pick the bike up? |

Dave...where are you located? Fly & buy would be an option if the deal was right... |

I'm in Appleton Wisconsin. The problem is getting the bike registered. As soon as I register it with Buell to a customer outside the US, I'm busted! Plus, I think it would be a major hassle to get it across the border? Bottom line is it's against the dealer agreement my employer signed. I kind of want to keep my job! |

Dave: Smart move. Best bet would be to get Darcy hooked up with a well regarded Canadian Dealer. The Dealer Contract, as you know, is near and dear...as well it should be. One of my funniest stories is when someone tried to strong arm Buell on this deal in the United Kingdom....remind me to tell you sometime. Court |

Would never ever ask anyone to do anything wrong. I manage a registry office so I know all about the trouble you would get in. I do know people that have went to the states to purchase bike and bring them back here but I think it would be more hassle than it would be worth. It just pisses me off that NO ONE up here sells for MSRP...cause Deeley has to get thier cut.... |
