obviously different because of the exhaust valve on the 12. Any other differences? I am getting my XB9 punched out and stroked into 90" and I am thinking I would be better off running an ECM from a 12. Will a 12 ECM work in the XB9 harness or do I need to get an XB12 harness?

The 12 ECM will plug straight into the 9 harness. I would recommend the 12 Race ECM instead of the stock 12 ECM. As well as the 12 injectors if you aren't running aftermarket injectors.
