Hello Everyone, I'm somewhat new to the board. I bought a XB9SX a couple of months ago. The stock exhaust doesn't cut it for me, and so I'm looking to buy an aftermarket setup. I've been looking all over the place for sound clips of all the exhausts and haven't come up with much. I'm particularly interested in hearing the Buell Race kit and the Drummer. Any suggestions?....Thanks |

Check this... http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/32777/121851.html I had the same question and, incidentally the same bike. I went with the D&D. Hope that helps. |

That special OPS pipe is outstanding. I may be missing something, but can anyone find any info on the pipe on Stone Mountain's site. I really want to know more. |

Check out www.kdfab.com. The "Exhaust Systems" page runs the sound of a Drummer in the background. It may take a while to load if you have a dial up connection. |

Gearhead, do a search for user named "odie". He'll help you out and answer any questions you may have about the Special OPS. |

Now that Odie's a sponsor, it's easy to talk about! It's a modded stock pipe. He cuts it open, guts it, reworks the inside, then puts a new end pipe on. Odie's the first to admit it's not as nice looking or as finished looking as Kevin's is, but so far those that have one (including me) love it! Since he leaves the valve in it you don't have to worry about the ECM or disconnecting the cable. I'm curious to see a dyno shootout between Odie's pipe and Kevin's...just for fun :-) |

I agree with Jim. I also have the Latus, and I am very pleased with the sound of it. I would post a sound clip, but I can barely turn on my computer and surf the net, so doing that would not let me ride much. The Latus is a really nice, deep sounding pipe. It seems to give my bike a little more power than it had with the race can on. |

I believe the special ops pipe is in the sponser section now. My personal preference i would go for the Drummer or D&D LATER J |
