I finally had a chance to meet one of my idols yesterday afternoon. Genuine,sincere,and passionate about bikes & engineering, are just a few for the characterictics I picked-up on. Erik had time to chat freely, answer questions, sign autographs and pose for photo's. All tolled he was with us at the Silverstone F1 circuit for about 5 hours.  Also on hand was Buell factory stunt rider Craig Jones, who put on a show to entertain the crowds using slightly modified XB12 Lightnings. And after the action packed routine answer questions from the audience, and sign autographs & pose for pictures.  Having both individuals in the UK at the same venue at the same time, has made my week. The memory I will cherish for a long time to come...... Thank you Erik, thank you Buell UK. | ||
