As to the extremely long list of remarks at the bottom, there are quite a number of them a squid does not make...there are some that are dead balls accurate, but quite a number are just wrong. | ||

Its a pretty big list. The question should be not if you have done these, but when. If you haven't done at least one you most likely don't ride a motorcycle (as much as we may not want to admit to any of these).  | ||

You ride around with your $500 SHOEI bungie netted to your rear seat. I didn't see that one. I'm guilty! Except it was a $300 Shoei. Though the only time it was bungied to my Zephyr was when it wasn't hanging off of my elbow. In the summer of 94' I was a squid. But I'm all better now | ||

have to agree w/ wicked on that long list at the end... I mean, shoot, I think I done a least a few of those,... just this week!  ( come on, it was hot, and my @55 was sweatin, I only stood on the pegs for a little air..and the pin stripe, well, it cuts the panel of black that is my black fairing XB-R,and newly installed smoked dble bbl, which of course matches my oakleys,, na just kiddin there.) | ||

you can't describe a squid like that. only a squid would think he can. there are squids that have been riding for 50 years and newbies that aren't squids. not to say that time in the saddle does or doesn't denote squid status. sometimes squids are painfully obvious, other times you can't quite put your finger on it. but there are things not on that list that are squid specific. the list will never be complete. and there are things on that list that don;t make you a squid...such as riding on factory suspension settings for instance...not me ...i mean some guy might do that and not be a squid...right......right guys.........that wouldn't necessarilly make a guy a squid would it ............guys..............i mean the factory settings could be perfect........right? | ||
