I was out in the garage working on my Race XB9R last night and reflecting on how much I really enjoyed riding her on the street. To make a long story longer, I got engaged some months ago, my Fiancée Meghan knows I wanted a Buell since last race season and mentioned we should go look at the 05's at the dealer the upcoming Saturday. That was a Wednesday back in Feb, I bought my 03' (at a great discount) on Friday and picked it up on Saturday. I took the ball and ran with it!!! I have a 98' HD Sportster 883 that I bought new and I really love riding that bike, BUT I REALLY REALLY want a CityX as my daily transport....Now I have to figure out how..... Dilemma, I have that disease where you buy a bike, never sell it then buy another, I was up to 6 but I did sell off my old Race Hawk. They all do something Special!!!! Right Now I am focused on finishing the prep work on the "NineR" and she should in paint HOPEFULLY this weekend!!! |

Hey Bill, if your fiancée doesn't ride teach her. If she gets bit by the bug she will never complain about you have too many bikes. |

Meg rides, I taught her to ride the Sportster. She then wanted a dirtbike so i got her a XR200, she rides well but gets carried away on the jumps... Once we are married i plan on getting her this bike....

How about three: The sun is shining today, dealers want to sell their '05s, and there are about 60 riding days before the '06's are out? |

That's so cool! I envy you, mine won't even get on the back of my bike anymore, let alone ride on one herself. She had a pretty bad get off (highside) from a moped 2 years ago. She wasn't wearing good protective gear, and got road rash on her right knee, left shoulder and hand. She lost her diamond, but luckily we were able to find it where she went down, and the jeweler fixed it for free. |

Wow, 6 bikes. I was at 4, swapped two for one and am now ready for the 06 Buells if they are very special. Got money and room in the garage. If the Delano dealer drops the line I guess I will have to deal with DaveS |

I was starting to become interested in getting a new XB9 but they only come in yellow?! Looks I'm sticking with the X1 for a while yet. |

Wait for the 2006's and then get a 2005 city X for LESS LESS LESS and save save save ! Harley dealers are FOOL of bikes! Buell's the only ones they seem to deal on. Better yet buy a used city x from some x buell guy and give it to your non-x-fiance ! |
