So I read in a post that there is a new Drummer coming out with billet end caps. When will this version be available? I am exhaust shopping but may have to wait! Chase |

Kevin, Please explain what the new exhaust includes and how many different models/types you have available. I am getting ready to remove the stock exhaust soon on my 03 XB9S. |

Hattrick, the new Drummer SS will be stainless body, billet aluminim front and rear end caps with a billet front mount so the bike will still retain two jack points.....Jerseyguy will have the first one to test and get pics of so everyone can see it...I have a 12 sold already so I will be taking orders and building the first 15 after I find out who wants what....they will be for the XB9 and 12, they will be poser pretty so I'm not having the spoiler mounts and the Drummer logo is engraved into the rear cap..... Thanks, Kevin www.kdfab.com |

Kevin, will you be able to add the spoiler mounts? Even if they are that pretty I just like my carbon fiber spoiler |

Nasty, Probably in the future there will be mounts for the chin spoiler, but there aren't any as for now.....Remember I'm one person not a huge company, but I'm trying hard to get all this project finished.... Kevin www.kdfab.com |

Nasty, We made kind of a strategic decision to leave the mounts off for starters. There are actually four sheet metal pieces that make up the three side mounts plus the two front mounts. It's a considerable amount of added cost to make them & get them welded to the body properly. We are also reducing the weight some by not having the brackets or spoiler. The billet front end and mounting bracket should be good looking too! The brackets are designed though, just not implemented. |

But on the other hand if you are doing any racing of any kind they have to be there. No belly pan no racing. As far as reducing weight that very little.Consider this I cut back on soda.Coke, Pepsi, etc. and not at all change my diet.I've lost 10 lbs. in a month. The brackets don't weigh that. |

If your racing you just need one big drag pipe and that would be easy to put mounts on...... |

Drag Pipe on a road coarse bike???That would suck!!!Best performing muffler is what its suppose to be and you can't use it on your track bike???Come on Kevin. |

I can't help it that people think it's just for the street cause it makes great low end power plus the good top numbers....go figure.. |

No mounts Kevin and you won't see it on the track. The competition all have mounts. |

I am sure he is not really concerned with seeing it on the track. I don't believe in the "win on Sunday = sales on Monday" when it comes to Buell products. Most Buell riders never see a track with their bike. And many of us that have, are in beginner classes that don't require all that stuff. Besides I think everyone here know's my stance on Bling being seen on a bike! Dana, as host to a "Biker Blingfest" I would think you would understand the fashion before function mentality. |

Kevin, I was just curious, how hard is it to weld stainless steel to aluminum. Or are the pieces bolted together. Matt |

Then how does he mount the Belly pan Kevin??I'm not trying to give you a hard time. These are legitimate questions and your coming back to me like a smart A$$.Isn't Tripp racing Drag racing on V-Rods anyway?? |

If you run the full body work (shark skins) then the belly pan attatches to the upper and to custom fabricated brackets with dzus fasteners. The stock belly pan mounts are just along for the ride. Hope this helps!? |

Belly pans mount to the engine and tranny, not the muffler. Give it a break already Dana, sheesh. You are cavalierly messing with a reputable man's livelyhood. Uncool. |

BadS1, The belly pan mounts to the full fairing, it's a prothunder bike and they are racing a different class....Tripp is racing the V-Rod and they are deciding whether to go to Seattle this weekend or race the Buell at VIR....The Buell is still at my shop so I'm not sure what is going on with their racing plans.... Matty, I'm the only person I know that can weld stainless to aluminum...just kidding!!!! They will be bolted together with stainless screws... Kevin www.kdfab.com |

Why not just pick up a pair of the re-designed Jardine mounts and use them? |

Blake, The stock XB chin fairing (belly pan) bolts to the front of the muffler. If the muffler has no mounting provisions then the spoiler cannot be fitted. The bike would look goofy without it. |
