Well I'm over my 1000 miles due Homecoming and other rides.Did all fluid changes do back at deal.Still wait on the call for other stuff dealer all back up. I have had some glitches with xb12r.The rough idling and so on. I had richness problem and pop at start off. I change the plug fouled like MOFO. Used NGK still little rich and popping at the start. Bought the openbox kit from al at www.americansportbike.com AL also reset my tps at buell Homecoming thanks again al.I'll be order more stuff soon.Well help throttle response. So I got the v-pro series plugs from buell. Problem solved the dam plugs were to cold for racing kit. Bike runs like raped ape. |

My bike too was running like crap for the first 1000 miles or so but after a good break in and service at about 1500 miles with the syn3. It has settled down and runs great! I now have about 2500 on my xb12s and it is just sweeter all the time. I think it just needed to break in plus the race kit may have been pushing it from the start. I should have broke it in in stock form and then switched to the race kit. Those plugs may be a good upgrade, I will have to give a set a try but no need right now. At one point I had planned to get it into the dealer and change the plugs since I thought they were fouled. But I rode it a while and it cleared up completely. |
