Well of course when I bought my bike new it had the dyno oil from the factory and my fan came on all the time while riding even with it only 30 degrees out. At the 1k I switched to syn3 because I got a deal (4bucks a quart). Much better, fan came on much less only after riding around town for awhile would it come on. Shifting seemed very clunky and clumsy with both , but just figured that was typical for these bikes. Now at 2k I wanted to change the oils again. Orderd some amsoil MCT. Put in both the primary and engine. I rode the bike for about 20 minutes, not only did it shift so much better then it has previously. The fan didn't even come on after I shut the bike off. I am impressed so far. |

I've been thinking about making the switch to Amsoil. Are you using their filters too? |

I had a extra bosch filter already so I just used that. |

AMSOIL makes a fine product! Mobil 1 is also very very good! |
